Converts an operator into a MajoranaOperator.
This is a thin, type-agnostic wrapper around the SupportsMajoranaOperator protocol method, mirroring the free-function style of fermion_operator().
Parameters
operator (SupportsMajoranaOperator) – the operator to convert, implementing SupportsMajoranaOperator.
Returns
The operator converted into a MajoranaOperator.
